When the weather turns hot and the portable air conditioner comes out of the cupboard, the part that always seems to be missing, cracked or the wrong shape is the plastic exhaust adapter or window kit. Manufacturers often charge a surprising amount for a small moulded part, if they still sell it at all, and a unit from a few years ago may have no spares left. Portable AC exhausts vary a lot between brands, so the perfect match is not always on the shelf. If none of the above fits, send a photo of your unit's outlet and the hose with a tape measure in shot, or just the key measurements, through the contact page. For a simple adapter we can often draw it and print it to fit.

Which material, and what it costs
