Our quote shows what you actually pay, with Royal Mail postage included. We put the same four files through a UK print service that advertises free delivery on every order, and ours came out cheaper delivered on all four. If you find a lower delivered price for the same print, send it over before you pay and we will match it.

How we tested: on 27 September 2026 the same four STL files were uploaded to the instant quote tools at bicester3d.co.uk and harktech.co.uk and priced in PLA at each site's default standard settings (Bicester3D: PLA Basic, Medium Quality, Standard strength, 0.4 mm nozzle), one copy, standard dispatch. Bicester3D advertises free tracked UK delivery on every order and is VAT registered, so its prices include VAT. Our prices use the cheapest tracked postage our quote offered for each part, so both sides are tracked. Hark Tech is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. Our token price was updated on 5 October 2026 for Royal Mail’s Large Letter price rise (£2.85 to £2.95). Prices on both sites can change, so treat this as a dated snapshot. We will re-run the test and update this table.
A fair comparison
This compares delivered prices for four simple PLA parts only. Bicester3D also offers services we do not, including SLA resin printing, 3D scanning and CAD design, and its turnaround and service may suit some jobs better. Bicester3D is an independent business; Hark Tech is not affiliated with it, and its name is used here only to identify the service we compared. If anything on this page is out of date or wrong, email [email protected] and we will correct it.

One postage charge per order, not per part
Add ten parts to your cart and they ship together in one parcel with one postage charge. Postage only changes if the parcel has to move up a size, and your cart always shows the combined delivered total before you pay.
Example from the test: the round token and the L-bracket ordered separately would be £9.85 and £11.55. In one cart they come to £13.85 delivered: £9.20 of printing and one £4.65 Tracked 48 parcel.

Send us the other quote before you pay. We check it is a like-for-like job, then send you a secure payment link at the matched delivered price.
What we match
- A UK-based 3D printing service with a public online price or a written quote made out to you.
- The same file, the same quantity and the same material type, for example PLA against PLA, at similar quality and infill.
- The delivered total to the same UK address, including VAT and postage, at the same or a slower dispatch speed.
- Orders up to £250 in materials we print.
What we do not match
- Discount codes, first-order offers, sales, clearance, member-only prices and marketplace listings.
- Quotes more than seven days old, or prices we cannot see or check.
- Orders that have already been paid. Ask before you order.
We match the delivered price; we do not undercut it. If a job does not qualify, we will tell you before you pay.

Price and postage questions
Do you charge postage on every part?
No. Postage is charged once per order. Every part in your cart ships in one parcel, and the charge only changes if the parcel has to move up a size.
Is the price on the quote what I pay?
Yes. The quote shows the print price and the postage, and your cart shows the delivered total before payment. There is no VAT to add.
Why not free delivery on every order?
Free delivery on a small order is usually built into the part price. We show postage separately so you can see what you are paying for, and UK tracked delivery is free on orders over £40.
Will you beat a cheaper price?
We match a qualifying delivered price for the same job. We do not undercut it.
