Real batch prices, from our workshop slicer

Two plain L-brackets in PETG at Standard quality and 20% infill, sliced on our workshop slicer and priced exactly as the website prices them on 19 October 2026. They are worked examples, not a quote for your file: your part's weight, print time and material set its price, and the estimator shows it before you pay.

Why batches get cheaper

Every print carries a fixed share of setup, checking and packing, and a per-print minimum (£2.30 for parts up to 8 g, £4.60 above that). With more copies of one file, that work is shared, so the price per part falls at each step: 10% off at 5 copies, 20% at 10, 30% at 25, 40% at 50 and 50% at 100.

Not in a rush? Bulk lead time (10 to 14 working days) lets us slot the batch between other jobs and takes another 20% off the print cost. Mixing different parts in one basket also counts towards a discount, up to 20%.

Batch 3D printing, answered

Can I order a batch of 3D printed parts online in the UK?

Yes. Upload one STL, 3MF or STEP file at the price tool, set the quantity, and the price for the whole batch appears before you pay. Up to 100 copies of a part are priced online. For more than 100, or a regular schedule, send a batch brief. No setup fee, no tooling and no account needed, and no VAT is added.

How much do batch discounts save?

Copies of the same part get 10% off the print cost at 5 copies, 20% at 10, 30% at 25, 40% at 50 and 50% at 100. Different parts in the same basket also count together towards a discount, up to 20%.

What does a batch of 3D printed parts actually cost?

Checked on our workshop slicer on 19 October 2026, PETG at Standard quality: a 60 x 40 x 25 mm L-bracket with 4 mm walls (about 7 g each) is £18.40 for 10, £40.25 for 25, £69.00 for 50 and £115.00 for 100. A larger 80 x 50 x 30 mm bracket with 6 mm walls (about 13.5 g each) is £36.80 for 10, £80.50 for 25, £138.00 for 50 and £230.00 for 100. Tracked 48 delivery is free on orders of £40 or more. Your file's price is the one the estimator shows.

How long does a batch take?

Most Standard orders are dispatched within 2 working days, 4 at the latest. The estimator checks every job against the workshop's four printers and shows a realistic dispatch estimate on the quote when a big batch cannot make that window. Bulk lead time (10 to 14 working days) takes another 20% off the print cost; Express guarantees dispatch within 2 working days for +70%, or free on jobs with up to 4 hours of printing.

Is delivery included?

Royal Mail Tracked 48 is free on orders of £40 or more. Below that, a small parcel is £4.65. The exact delivery options are shown before you pay.

Can I check a few parts before ordering the full batch?

Yes. Many customers order a small paid batch first, check the fit in their product, then order the rest. Paid single-file parts can be saved to a trade account with their material, quality and quantity so the next batch is a reorder, not a new quote.

Which materials can a batch be printed in?

PLA and PETG for everyday parts (normal order minimum £6.90), flexible TPU (£11.50 minimum), and ABS, ASA, polycarbonate, nylon and PETG-CF for heat or outdoor use (£46 minimum). The materials guide compares them.

Do you design the part?

No. Hark Tech prints from the file you already have, so the design stays yours. If you need a production file designed, our independent partner CEEQ Design can quote the CAD work.
