What one part costs, with real numbers

Checked against the live estimator on 18 October 2026, one copy at Standard quality in PLA or PETG: a tiny clip, knob or cover up to 8 g is £4.00 to print, £5.95 delivered by untracked Royal Mail Large Letter or £6.95 tracked. One part on its own up to 40 g is £4.00 to £6.90 (16p per gram on our usual price steps): a 20 g part is £4.00, so £8.65 delivered by Royal Mail Tracked 48, and a 30 g part is £5.18. A second part or a second copy brings the normal £6.90 order minimum back for the whole basket, so two small parts together are typically £9.20, or £13.85 delivered by Tracked 48. Delivery is free by Tracked 48 over £40.

These are worked examples, not a quote for your file. Your part's weight, print time and material set the price, and the estimator shows it before you pay. Prices were last checked on 18 October 2026.

Why we price one part this way

Most UK print bureaus set a £15 to £40 minimum per order, so a single clip or knob is never worth ordering. Our workshop prints small parts alongside bigger jobs, so one part costs us little extra, and we pass that on: £4.00 for a tiny part, 16p a gram for a lone part up to 40 g, never more than our normal £6.90 minimum.

Need two or more? The basket moves to the normal £6.90 order minimum, and batch discounts start at 5 copies: 10% at 5, 20% at 10, 30% at 25, 40% at 50 and 50% at 100. Twenty-five copies of a 25 g PETG bracket were £80.50 (£3.22 each) with free Tracked 48 delivery when we checked.

Ordering one part, answered

Can I order just one 3D printed part?

Yes. One copy of one part is a normal order here, not a special request. There is no handling fee, no account and no VAT added. Upload the file, see the price, pay, and it is posted to you.

How much does one small 3D printed part cost in the UK?

Checked against the live estimator on 18 October 2026, one copy at Standard quality in PLA or PETG: a tiny clip, knob or cover up to 8 g is £4.00 to print, £5.95 delivered by untracked Royal Mail Large Letter or £6.95 tracked. A second part or a second copy brings the normal £6.90 order minimum back for the whole basket, so two small parts together are typically £9.20, or £13.85 delivered by Tracked 48. Delivery is free by Tracked 48 over £40.

Is there a minimum order?

The normal order minimum is £6.90 for PLA and PETG. One small PLA or PETG part on its own is priced below that: £4.00 for anything up to 8 g, and £4.00 to £6.90 for a lone part up to 40 g. TPU has a £11.50 minimum. ABS, ASA, polycarbonate, nylon and PETG-CF have a £46 minimum because they need a heated chamber and longer setup.

How much is delivery for one part?

Shown with the price before you pay. Royal Mail Large Letter untracked is £1.95 and tracked £2.95 for parts that fit through a letterbox; Tracked 48 small parcel is £4.65; Tracked 48 is free over £40. Express dispatch is priced separately.

Is this the cheapest way to get one part 3D printed?

For one small PLA or PETG part posted in the UK, £5.95 delivered is hard to beat without owning a printer, and it includes a check by hand and our reprint or refund promise. Larger parts are priced by material, print time and weight, and the estimator shows the figure before you commit. Compare the delivered price, not the headline: some services add handling or postage at the end.

I do not have a file, only the broken part.

Search the catalogue: more than 100,000 community designs, many of them replacement clips, knobs and brackets for named appliances and cars. If nothing fits, Hark Tech does not do CAD, but the separate engineering partner CEEQ Design can quote the modelling first.

How quickly will one part arrive?

Most Standard orders are dispatched within 2 working days (4 at the latest), then Royal Mail adds 1 to 3 days. Express guarantees dispatch within 2 working days even when the workshop is busy. See current dispatch times.
