Almost always yes. On consoles 3+ years old it’s nearly always dried thermal paste plus dust. A full strip, clean and repaste brings the fan noise back to factory levels and stops the shutdowns. Typical job cost £60–£85.
Yes — disc-drive grinding is often bracket realignment (cheap fix) rather than full drive replacement. We diagnose both and quote accordingly.
Yes. Every repair carries a 12-month warranty on the specific work performed.
On fixed-price jobs, tracked UK return is included. If the work cannot be completed, the £15 booking fee covers tracked return. On unknown board-level faults, the £40 assessment covers diagnosis and tracked return if you decline the quote.

We are a mail-in repair service covering the whole of the UK. You post the console to our workshop, we repair it and post it back. There is no walk-in counter, but the process is the same wherever you are: free photo quote first, then post when you are ready.
