We repair e-readers, not tablets: iPads, Fire tablets and Android tablets are not covered. E-reader not listed? Send the make and model on WhatsApp and we will confirm it fits the £45 price first.
Some e-readers are glued shut, and the screen sits very close to the edge of the case. Opening them carries a small risk to the screen. We look at your model before we open it, and if we see that risk we tell you before going any further, so you can decide.
On some boards the pads under the port can lift when the old port comes off. If that happens, or we find other damage beyond the port, we photograph it and quote before doing anything more. Your books and notes are not touched by the port work, but sync or back up anything important before you post it.
