HDMI port repair, not just for consoles
A damaged HDMI socket can write off an otherwise useful device. We replace board-mounted HDMI ports on consoles, laptops, mini PCs, cameras, projectors, docks, capture devices and other mail-in hardware. You arrange tracked postage to us; we cover tracked UK return.
Tell us the make, model and whether the port is loose, visibly damaged, or simply gives no picture. That decides whether we can quote from photos or need the board on the bench.
If it fits safely in the post, ask us
The connector is the same idea; the strip-down and board around it determine the job.
Laptops and mini PCs
Loose, cracked or missing display-output sockets on compact computers and laptop mainboards.
Cameras and capture gear
Full-size, mini and micro HDMI connectors on cameras, capture devices and video accessories.
Projectors and AV equipment
Damaged input or output sockets on projectors, switchers, splitters, receivers and test equipment.
Docks and adapters
Board-mounted HDMI ports on laptop docks, USB-C docks, KVMs and specialist adapters.
TV and monitor boards
For large displays, contact us about posting the input board rather than the complete TV or monitor.
Scope: no phones or tablets, no walk-ins, and no need to send a large display when its removable input board is the repairable part. Send photos first if you are unsure.
What the symptom tells us
A broken socket and a no-picture board fault can look similar from the front.

HDMI port repair, answered
What devices can you replace an HDMI port on?
Consoles, laptops, mini PCs, cameras, projectors, capture devices, docks, AV switchers and many other mail-in devices. For large TVs and monitors, ask about sending the relevant board. We do not repair phones or tablets.
How much does it cost?
PS5 is £89, Xbox is £69–85 and PS4 is £69. Other devices start with a £40 assessment credited against an approved repair, because access and board construction vary.
Who pays postage?
You arrange and pay tracked postage to us. Tracked UK return is included in fixed prices and agreed repair quotes. If you decline after assessment, the £40 covers tracked return.
What if the port is not the fault?
We diagnose before replacing parts when the connector is not clearly damaged. Any different board-level work is quoted before it begins.
Can you repair lifted pads or a previous attempt?
Often, yes. Send close photos first. Pad and trace repair varies with the damage and is quoted separately.
Broken display connector?
Send the device model and clear photos for a free first check, or book the £40 assessment when the fault needs bench diagnosis.
