How we compare with the big online bureaus

Most industrial 3D printing bureaus set a £15 to £40 minimum per order, quote by email for anything unusual, and route small jobs to the back of a production queue. Aggregator sites compare hundreds of suppliers but often route your file abroad. We keep it simple: a £6 floor so one-off parts are worth ordering, a firm price on screen before you pay, and every part printed in our own Basingstoke workshop and posted tracked from the UK, so there is no import duty and no three-week wait.

Materials run from everyday PLA and tough outdoor-friendly PETG through TPU, ABS, ASA, PC and carbon fibre blends. The materials guide compares them honestly, and bulk discounts apply automatically from 5 identical parts. Businesses get a named contact, PO and invoice payment and NDAs on the business service.

No file? No problem.

Order from our catalogue of over 100,000 community models with a live printed-and-posted price on every page, or have our design partner model a part from scratch, from a sketch or a broken original.

Ordering online, answered

How does an online 3D printing service work?

Everything happens on the website: upload an STL, STEP or sliced 3MF to the price tool, pick a material and colour, and a firm price appears in seconds. Pay online, then track your order to your door. No phone calls, no quote emails, no account needed.

Is there a minimum order?

Orders start at £6. Many UK print bureaus set a £15 to £40 minimum per order; we keep the floor at £6 so one-off small parts are worth ordering. Free delivery applies from £40.

How fast is delivery?

Standard orders are typically dispatched within 2 to 4 working days and posted tracked. An Express lane guarantees 2-day dispatch, and small in-stock prototype parts paid by 1pm can go out the next working day via the rapid prototyping lane.

What happens if something goes wrong with my order?

If we cannot print your file we refund in full within 24 hours. If a print is not right when it arrives, we reprint it free. Every order is checked by hand and photographed before packing, and the business carries £1m public liability insurance.

Can businesses order online too?

Yes. Bulk discounts apply automatically from 5 identical parts, and the business service adds a named contact, PO and invoice payment, priority queueing and NDAs for commercially sensitive work.

Is it really printed in the UK?

Yes. Every part is printed in our own workshop in Basingstoke, Hampshire, checked by hand and posted from the UK. No overseas routing, no import duty and no three-week shipping wait.
