Our workshop sits in Basingstoke, a short hop from Oxford, which makes it one of the easier places in Oxfordshire to get quality FDM 3D printing without going through an online marketplace or a print-on-demand outfit that sub-contracts the work overseas.
As well as Oxford itself I regularly print for Abingdon, Kidlington, Bicester, Witney and Didcot and the surrounding Oxfordshire area. Everything ships by Royal Mail Tracked or Parcelforce, so it makes no difference whether you’re in the centre or out in the villages.
Oxford sends a steady stream of student and research prototypes, jigs, rigs, enclosures and one-off parts on a deadline. Upload an STL or a sliced 3MF and you get a firm price in seconds rather than waiting days for a quote. The full scope and example work lives on the main 3D printing page and in the workshop gallery, if what you need isn’t shown, email a description and I’ll tell you if it’s doable.
Oxford has plenty of printing options on paper, but most are aggregators that route jobs through shared farms, you never know which machine, operator or country your part came from. Hark Tech is a one-person workshop: every job is printed on a machine I maintain myself, and you talk to the person who pressed start.
Serving other towns and cities across the UK, see the full list of areas we print for, or jump to a nearby one:
